Volunteers play a critical role in the success of the Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra. We are a 100% volunteer organization and would not be able to carry on without our dedicated volunteers. We value our volunteers’ time and commitment to helping us bring affordable symphony music to Puget Sound audiences.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Ticket Sales

PSSO is in need of individuals to sell tickets during the concert season. This position requires a high level of customer service and autonomy. Experience handling cash sales (receiving funds, giving change) is desirable, but not required.

Will Call

Volunteers are needed to help distribute tickets to patrons who have placed advance orders. This position requires volunteers that can provide a high level of customer service and can cross-reference multiple lists to ensure that patrons receive proper tickets.

Concessions

After each concert, there is a reception with refreshments in the Town Hall lobby where patrons have an opportunity to mingle with other concertgoers and the musicians. Volunteers are needed to set up and serve the refreshments after concert performances.

Ushers and Ticket Takers

PSSO is in need of individuals to serve as ticket takers and ushers during concert performances. These volunteers will collect tickets from the patrons as they enter the auditorium, provide programs to the patrons, and help audience members find seating.

Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Gina DiLembo, at volunteer@psso.org for more information or if you are interested in any of our volunteer positions. Thank you for your generous support of Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra.
